The second time around is just as sweet and I hope I never lose this giddy feeling when seeing my books on the shelves.
My second book, FATHER MATERIAL, just hit the bookstores and I had to stop myself from just going down the book aisle at Kmart and just staring and pointing and generally making a giant idiot out of myself. I was even tempted to tell a perfect stranger two aisles down that my book was only a few hundred feet away just in case she felt the urge to purchase it. I know. Complete lunacy. But there's something so awesome about seeing your book sitting there, proclaiming to the world that you are talented enough to attract a publisher and compete with some of the best writers in the world. Yep. I'm grinning from ear to ear. So, here's my shameless plug while I'm still basking in the glow of the moment--go buy my book! It's out there! Go find it. And let me know where you see it!

Hey Girl!! Congratulations! You send any copies to Pioneer Market?? I guess I’ll have to try the bookstore in Oakhurst …
Love you,
Trudy
Trudy,
My old Trib home. I’m very excited!
I don’t know if Pioneer Market is going to carry them but I am having a local booksigning on Sunday, July 29 at the Yosemite Fruit and Nut Company.
Will I see you there?
Kim
Yay you!! I am so happy for you. I have to go to B & N this weekend to get books for school, I will look for you on the shelves.
Hugs,
Kenna
Awesome possum! Very cool to have your dreams realized. I will try to make it to your signing. Gotta say “Salut!” to an old amie.
